Bolster Dog Beds

Bolster beds have raised sides on two or three edges, which matters more than it sounds. Dogs who sleep with their chin on something — against a wall, over the arm of your couch, on top of another dog — are telling you they want a headrest. A bolster gives them one, and the walls add a sense of enclosure that helps anxious dogs settle.

Upholstery-grade covers that come off to wash, in sizes small through extra large. If your dog sprawls flat instead, look at cushion beds.
